These picnic skewers are best when served chilled.
Recipe:
- Chubby wood skewers
- Fresh picked sweet cherry tomatoes
- Fresh picked sweet and purple basil with stems.
- Fresh mozzarella cubed
- Artichoke hearts/ freshly steamed or canned large pieces
- Whole pepperoni peppers (jarred)
- Peppered salami (folded)
Rotate portions on skewers and place them on a pretty vintage platter.
Prepare a vinaigrette of high-quality extra virgin olive oil mixed with a high-quality balsamic vinegar to create a vinaigrette to your taste, shake well and drizzle over chilled skewers.
